The Monash University
Betty Amsden AO Leadership Program

  • Administered by Monash University through a special grant, this awards program supports up to 20 students each year who have shown leadership potential and have experienced educational disadvantages.

  • Each student is awarded $6,000 and matched with Monash alumni mentors, who provide one-on-one coaching and advice with a focus on industry knowledge, networks, career planning and personal development.

    The connection, guidance and inspiration provided by the alumni mentors assist students to transition successfully to the workplace and beyond.

The Betty Amsden Leadership Development
Award

  • Every two years the Foundation selects a small group of performing arts management professionals to participate in a coaching program with funding provided for independent learning experiences to enhance development.

  • The Foundation is using the time between the 2 year cycle to review the program and value of support

  • This Fellowship is designed to reward and support an outstanding performing arts sector professional and help propel their career to the next stage of industry and thought leadership
